Jennifer Meyerowitz
Jennifer Meyerowitz is a Senior Managing Director and General Counsel at KCP Advisory Group, where she advises clients, lenders, investors, and stakeholders on complex restructurings, operational turnarounds, distressed transactions, and strategic initiatives. With more than 25 years of experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, operational management, and advisory services, Jennifer brings a unique combination of legal, operational, and business development expertise to distressed and transitional situations.
Jennifer has extensive experience working with operators, financial institutions, private equity firms, fiduciaries, and real estate stakeholders across a broad range of industries, with a particular focus on healthcare and senior care facilities. She regularly serves in advisory and fiduciary roles involving operational assessments, restructurings, lease negotiations, receiverships, workouts, and complex stakeholder negotiations and has served in court-appointed receiver and fiduciary roles in many engagements.
Jennifer is a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) and an active leader in the restructuring and insolvency community. She currently serves on the boards and committees of the American Bankruptcy Institute, Turnaround Management Association, and Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors, and is a former Global Chair of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation. She is a regular speaker and presenter at industry conferences.

- Jennifer previously served as Chief Growth Officer and General Counsel for a national healthcare turnaround firm, where she led strategic growth initiatives, managed client relationships, oversaw legal and human resources functions, and advised on operational and restructuring matters involving senior living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, behavioral health centers, memory care communities, and hospitals.
- Jennifer has held leadership roles with global legal technology and restructuring services companies and previously worked with distressed real estate and investment advisory firms focused on workouts, distressed debt, and restructuring transactions.
- Jennifer began her legal career at Alston & Bird LLP, where she represented debtors, creditors, creditors’ committees, landlords, trustees, and financial institutions in complex Chapter 11 proceedings, restructurings, workouts, and commercial litigation matters.
