Darren Gibbons brings over 25 years of operational and financial leadership experience across the heavy equipment, real estate, and energy industries. He has a proven track record of driving performance, restructuring underperforming businesses, and creating long-term enterprise value.

Darren spent over two decades in the crane and heavy equipment sector, where he was instrumental in the growth and successful sale of RMS Cranes, LLC—a second-generation, family-owned business—achieving a six-times EBITDA multiple in a private equity transaction. He remained with the company for five years post-sale, during which time he successfully increased both revenue and EBITDA.

In 2022, Darren joined ML Crane Group to lead its turnaround efforts, implementing operational and financial restructuring initiatives that included optimizing fleet utilization, consolidating branch operations, managing headcount reductions, and improving cash and asset-based lending management.

Throughout his career, Darren has combined strategic vision with hands-on execution to deliver measurable results, positioning him as a trusted advisor in complex operational and financial environments.
Darren has his Associate’s Degree in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting from Western Governors University.
