Brian Jacobson is a seasoned Massachusetts Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 25 years of extensive experience in public accounting, auditing, and private company work.  He has established himself as a trusted advisor in the industry with expertise in performing meticulous field examinations for a diverse clientele, including finance companies and financial institutions.

Before joining KCP, Brian was a Director with the Financial Advisory Services Team in the Field Examination Group at another financial consulting firm. His portfolio included conducting examinations for asset-based lenders (ABL), cash flow lenders, and commercial and industrial (C&I) lenders. Spanning various industries such as distribution, retail, manufacturing, services, and construction, Brian’s examinations serve multiple purposes, ranging from pre-loan reviews to ongoing collateral monitoring and one-time assessments.

Brian held the position of Director of Field Examinations and Client Accounting Services at Gray, Gray, and Gray, where he contributed significantly to the firm’s success. His proficiency in field examinations and loan reviews for financial institutions enables him to deliver high-level accounting and audit services to banks, credit unions, and other lenders seeking assurances of their collateral.

Prior to his tenure at Gray, Gray, and Gray, Brian established himself as the founder and principal of Clear View Financial Services, LLC. He has served in senior financial positions for notable companies, including D. Schumacher Landscaping Inc, AmeriVault Inc, Digital Broadband Communications Inc, and Standard Electric Supply Company.

Brian kick-started his accounting career at Grant Thornton’s Boston office.
